How to send money to a vendor using Xe in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

To send money using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central follow the steps below:

1. In Business Central, click Cash Management followed by Payment Journals

2. In Payment Journals, click +New

3. Enter a payment Name and Description

4. Balance Account Type choose Bank Account 

5. In Balance Account Number, choose the account
6. Click out of the pop-up screen
7. In the Payment Journals screen scroll down and click on the payment line you've added
8. Choose the Account Number, Payment Method Code, Currency Code, Purpose of Payment, Industry Category, Industry Subcategory for each line

9. Click Xe followed by Pay with Xe

10. In the Process payments with Xe screen, click OK to continue. You can also change the Balance account and Settlement method in this screen and click on OK to save the changes.

11. Check the quote and click Confirm
12. View the payment information and contract details before clicking Continue

13. The Settlement Status will change to Awaiting Settlement and the Contract Status to Contract Confirmed
